Overview

PE-coated paper valve bags that combine paper stiffness with an added moisture-resistant layer for demanding storage and transport conditions.

Moisture Resistance

An added PE layer can help reduce moisture exposure risk (build-dependent).

Paper Stiffness

Maintain shape and stacking performance while adding protection.

Print & Coding Friendly

Designed to remain clear and consistent for branding and identification.

When PE-Coated Paper Helps

PE-coated paper is often selected when humidity and handling conditions increase moisture exposure risk.

  • Variable climate warehousing or seasonal humidity
  • Products prone to caking/clumping from moisture
  • Programs needing added protection without switching to fully woven sacks

Material Stack Choices

We choose the stack based on barrier target and workflow.

  • PE-coated layers (build-dependent)
  • Optional liners for higher protection or cleanliness
  • Anti-slip options for pallet stability (where applicable)
  • Printing, labels, and coding integration

Operational Fit

We confirm filler behavior, valve closing expectations, and pallet stability to select the best build.

FAQs

Is PE coating the same as a liner?

No. Coating is part of the paper stack, while a liner is a separate inner layer. The right choice depends on barrier targets, venting needs, and operational workflow.

When should we choose PE-coated paper vs PP woven?

Choose PE-coated paper when you want a paper-forward look/stacking behavior with added moisture resistance. PP woven is often better for very rough handling or outdoor exposure. We can compare options.

Can PE-coated paper still be printed well?

Yes. We align print approach and coding to the surface so branding and identification remain clear and durable.

Does PE coating reduce venting or de-aeration?

It can. If deaeration is important for your filling process, we consider alternative approaches (liner strategy, different stack design) so you do not trade stability for barrier.

Can we add a liner on top of PE coating?

Yes. Some programs combine coating with liners for higher protection or cleaner handling. We recommend the minimum build that meets risk and cost targets.

Is PE-coated paper recyclable?

Recyclability depends on the final structure and local systems. If recyclability is a priority, we can discuss alternative builds and the tradeoffs versus barrier performance.
